This is a 2 year certificate programme and it has been accredited by both Nurses and Midwives Council for Ghana (NMC) and the National Accreditation Board. The programme is being mentored by the University of Ghana, Legon.
OUR FIRST NURSING BATCH // 2006// The world now is need of competent and well trained health workers.For this reason we are also using our high school as a means to train student who have interest in the Health Field and prepare them for their future career.Consideration is given to qualified applicants from rural communities, because it is expected that they will return to their respective communities, where there is a dire need of qualified health workers, to serve after graduation.
OUR NEW CLASSROOM FOR NURSING STUDENTS. We admit students from all backgrounds without discrimination on the basis of religion, ethnicity, gender or political affiliations. Teaching, learning and research are our ultimate goal.An e-library and resource platform is currently under construction. This is to facilitate student learning. The facility will only be accessible to students of the Tema High school who have applied for Nursing but deciding to reside in the High school and also the student at schools premises.
