  ACADEMICS

The School publishes and circulates Academic Bulletins that governs the academic life of the students. Each Bulletin is in effect for a specific time span or term. The students are expected to meet all calendar, academic, financial and student life requirements stated in the bulletin. As much as possible, the school will stick to the published information for the entire term of the current bulletin, but it reserves the right to make such changes as instances may demand with reference to admission, registration, tuition and fees, curriculum requirements and other academic policies and practices, conduct, etc.Obtaining formal education is vital to one’s personal advancement and national development. This has been made easier and more accessible through Distance Learning administered by the Center for Distance and Adult Education.

Students are advised to carefully consider the courses they choose to register. Course advisors and the Head of Department can help and advice students in their course selection. Nevertheless a student may decide to add a course, or to withdraw from a course or a programme that he/she has registered. For this the student must obtain the appropriate change of registration form at the Office of the Director of Admissions and Records, obtain all the necessary signatures indicating approval of the change, and submit it to the director of admissions and records. All such changes should be made before or on the stipulated dates in the Academic Calendar.

The school offers a range of academic programmes to choose from (See Coursed Offered). It is required that at the time of application a student chooses an academic programme. Thus, a student is granted an admission for and is accepted to an academic programme. If a student is granted an admission to a certain academic programme he/she can not register and take courses in another programme or department unless a change in the academic programme is madeA student may not change from one section to another of the same course with out the approval of the Director of Admissions and Records and the Course Instructor.
